  • Jeff Bower, Class of 1969

    Jeff Bower '69 was elected President of the Centre County Bar Association & a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association for 2012.


    Kerry Kissinger, Class of 1962

    Janice (Harms '62) and I attended our 50th Class ReUnion at PSU this past weekend. Duane Alexander and Chuck Gaston were the only other TEKEs in attendance, but many of Janice's Gamma Phi sisters attended including Sue Paterno. Janice and I are now "Pioneers", so we will be attending the reunions on an annual basis going forward. We get back to State 2-3 times a year as I am involved with the Penn State Libraries.

  • Active Chapter Update on the Progress of TKE

    Dear Alumni of TKE Pi Chapter,

    Since the closing of our chapter house for the 2017-2018 school year, the remaining actives have taken the time to reassess our values, our duties as brothers, and most importantly, to recognize how much the brotherhood means to us all.  With the house reopening in the Fall, and University sanctions from 2016 violations expiring in the Spring, we are very excited for the coming year.   • TKE Sadly Reports The Deaths of Two Fraters

    Pi Chapter regrets to announce the passing of two FRaters. Our thoughts are with their friends and families.

    Ed Say '68, died unexpectedly on June 6 at his home in Shippenville, Pa. Ed served as a Sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC from May 1969 to August 1970. For Mr. Say's obituary, click HERE. Furthermore, we announce the passing of Reverend Dr. Darrell Blair Ray '55, of Nashville, TN on June 8. They will be remembered as dedicated TKEs… Read More +

  • Barron discusses Greek life reform as part of New York Times forum

    Penn State President Eric Barron discussed national challenges and reform efforts related to hazing and Greek life on May 31, as part of the New York Times Higher Ed Leaders Forum. Barron joined author and Bloomberg reporter John Hechinger on the panel, which was moderated by Stephanie Saul, investigative reporter for the New York Times. Barron emphasized the critical need for a coordinated, national effort among universities and communities to increase student safety, reduce dangerous behaviors and hold Greek-letter organizations accountable.
