  • Jeff Bower, Class of 1969

    Jeff Bower '69 was elected President of the Centre County Bar Association & a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association for 2012.

    Kerry Kissinger, Class of 1962

    Janice (Harms '62) and I attended our 50th Class ReUnion at PSU this past weekend. Duane Alexander and Chuck Gaston were the only other TEKEs in attendance, but many of Janice's Gamma Phi sisters attended including Sue Paterno. Janice and I are now "Pioneers", so we will be attending the reunions on an annual basis going forward. We get back to State 2-3 times a year as I am involved with the Penn State Libraries.

  • Pi Initiates Stellar Men With 3.58 GPA

    Pi Chapter initiated 11 new members this spring after their successful university-mandated maximum eight-week New Membership Educational Program ("pledge") period. The new initiatives' class cumulative GPA grade point average was a fantastic 3.58 - the highest GPA average for any of PSU's current fraternity new initiative classes. Next highest was in the 3.4 range.

  • New Borough Regulations on Parking at Fraternities - What You Should Know

    The borough of State College recently passed an ordinance forbidding parking on any grass areas throughout the borough. This means no one can park on our lawns when returning to the university for any events. All parking will have to be accommodated on the adjoining streets. Also passed in the same ordinance was the forbidding of parking on all streets in the Highlands Neighborhood (where Pi TKE and numerous other fraternities are located) between the hours of 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Coach Franklin has the football squad on the cusp of a National Title, Men’s basketball won the NIT tournament, the wrestling team continues to conquer and the number of men and women seeking to join a Greek letter organization is at an all-time high.
