The recent request published in the Fall 2015 "Pieces of Pi" newsletter for Pi-TKE memorabilia has gotten a good response. Items have been donated with a lot of significant historical importance. Some of the artifacts have included: original hard bound and soft bound copies of the first 17 "Pieces of Pi" newsletters written by Dr. C. S. "Andy" Andersen and his wife to keep all the brothers called into service during World War II, those serving at home and the few who remained at PSU in touch with each other. The 17 editions are a truly remarkable history of correspondence that contributed significantly to the preservation of the brotherhood and its revitalization after the war.

Other great finds having been donated are: a 1941 "Pi-Piper" recollection of happenings at the chapter during 1940-41; TKE guides; pledge programs, Pi Chapter's IFC Greek Sing choir photos, Orchid Ball photos, Pledge Formal photos, Spring Week skit and rehearsal photos, brother's yearly composites, trophies, awards, Order of Diana photos, the WW-II period TKE house picture postcard sent to our many frater servicemen, Homecoming celebrations, photos of how the house looked in 1959, the story of the TKE Flames band of the 68-69 period, the brother of the week paddle, a summer 1948 TKE national magazine, and numerous Pi Chapter events photos.

Why not take a look into your attic and closets and see what great TKE items are hiding. Dust them off and donate them for everyone to enjoy in the Foster Library display cases when visiting the chapter house.
