TKE Brothers Dance For The Kids

On Friday, February 17th, Penn State kicked off its annual panhellenic dance marathon at the Bryce Jordan Center. THON is a 46-hour event to raise awareness and money to help defeat children’s pediatric cancer so that one day, no child  shall have to suffer.

THON means a lot to not only the entire university, but a lot to our fraternity as well. Tau Kappa Epsilon and our paired sorority Alpha Chi Omega had been waiting for this weekend after months of preparation. This year, as a group, we raised over 100 thousand dollars through donations, canning and canvassing trips throughout the year.

Brothers Zachary Neville, Jake Kirschler and Michael Burnham danced on the Bryce Jordan Center floor to represent Tau Kappa Epsilon for the entire 46 hours. With encouragement in the stands from the brothers of Teke and sisters of Alpha Chi, our dancers did a phenomenal job of representing our Greek organizations!
