What Do YOU Think?

At the beginning of April, Penn State President Eric Barron penned an open letter to the fraternity and sorority community, which can be found HERE. The letter is a strong statement about the University's new expectations for Greek life at Penn State. As the President notes, we have experienced multiple continuing problems in the past several weeks, from continuing accusations of hazing to clear violations of our new restrictions on the use of alcohol in chapter activities.  I'm not sure we could be more plain about our intent and determination to change the course of our Greek-letter community when it comes to alcohol, hazing, and the troubling outcomes that too often result.

Your support in communicating this message to the students you advise will be greatly appreciated.  We must all join together in common purpose if we're to find a path for our fraternities and sororities that sustain their many good purposes and manages the outcomes none of us ever hope to see.

What do you think of the President's letter? We want your feedback as to what else Pi Chapter can do to continue thriving at Penn State.
