TKE Re-Opening Alumni Reunion, March 30, 2019

Please join your alumni classmates for a special spring reunion on Saturday, March 30,2019 at the chapter house.  The event will kick off at 1:00 PM and go the entire afternoon.  The event is being made special as it is our first formal all alumni function since we closed the house for the 2017-2018 academic school year.  Included will be guest speakers Damon Sims, PSU Vice President for Student Affairs and Pete Dawson, TKE Regional Representative.

Significant first floor renovations have been made that we would like you to see.  We have the first group ever to occupy the house who have never before lived in it since the house was built in the 1920s.  The afternoon will also provide a couple short talks by University officials and TKE National representatives on what regulatory changes have been put in place over the last year that greatly effect conduct and the operations of the house.  Our current Prytanis will also report on how our members are adapting to the many new Borough of State College, University, and TKE National regulations.

A formal buffet will be spread in the dining room for all to enjoy all afternoon.  Wives are invited.  AND, we are especially encouraging the 5 year anniversary graduating classes of 2014, 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974, 1969, 1964, 1959, and 1954 to organize their own individual post afternoon evening dinner reunions at the Nittany Lion Inn, the Penn Stater, or other State College locations.  Volunteers from each of these classes are asked through this announcement to volunteer to help round up their class for both the afternoon reunion and their class dinners.  Please email Tom Becker '69 if you would like to volunteer.  Tom can make available electronic contact lists for each class to help you organize the reunion of your class. Lets make this a special reunion, well attended by as many alumni that can travel to State College for a great weekend gathering with your brothers.  Be sure to make hotel room reservations ASAP to insure your choice of a hotel in State College. If you're planning to attend, please RSVP to Tom Becker, so we can get a reasonable expected attendance for our food preparations.
